Birth Doula Package:
Prenatal visits
◯ 3 prenatal visits where we discuss your goals and make support plans for your pregnancy, labor, and postpartum. We will also discuss more in-depth how I will be assisting you as your doula, and any questions or concerns regarding pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. We’ll also discuss coping mechanisms and ways to bring you comfort and ease through labor.
◯ Assistance with preparation for labor and postpartum i.e. meals for after birth, baby’s room, making bedroom ready for postpartum, getting the birthing area ready.
◯ On-call availability starting 3 weeks before your due date, since not all babies arrive on their due date! And once labor has started I’ll arrive whenever you feel you need my support for your labor.
Labor and delivery
◯ During labor, I’ll support the choices you have made for your ideal labor and birth and I will advocate for you so your goals and priorities are seen through to the end. I’ll support you with coping methods that we discussed in our prenatal visits and show any partner or loved one (should any be present) how to best help you through labor so you are able to focus on birthing your baby.
◯ For immediate postpartum, I will assist with skin-to-skin bonding and can support you with your ideal feeding situation. I’ll leave you when you’re comfortably tucked in with your new precious baby.
Postpartum
◯ 3 postpartum visits at your home, once a week for the first 3 weeks. I’ll come and see that your postpartum ideals and needs are being met, and support your decisions around feeding, sleeping, and overall recovery. I can help find you resources for further recovery and support.
◯ If you would like to have continued support for postpartum from me, we will take the last visit to discuss further what that would look like.
◯ If you like I would also love to take film photos of you and your support people through your labor and delivery to remember and commemorate this amazing experience.
Pricing
For complete Pregnancy and Labor Doula support :
$900 CAD
Film Pictures (fixed price):
$200 for 25-30 pictures and $300 for 50-60 pictures
Right now I have a sliding scale price. I’m willing to work around a budget and together we can discuss what price works for you. What is most important is that you get the support you deserve!
Complete payment is due 3 weeks before your due date.
